Support AUT’s Women on Campus Fund
Women at AUT are doing remarkable things. They lead student communities, advance fields that have histories of being dominated by men, advocate for gender equity, support fellow students, and much of the time, their work is unrecognised and unfunded.
The Women on Campus Fund exists to celebrate and uplift undergraduate and postgraduate women at AUT who are creating positive change for women within the university community. Through an annual scholarship, the fund recognises students whose academic pursuits and community leadership promotes gender equity, advocates for women’s issues, and acts on behalf of women on campus.
Women on Campus scholarship recipients describe feeling genuinely recognised, valued, and empowered by this award. Beyond its immediate financial impact, the scholarship strengthens their emerging professional profiles and inspires them to continue championing and supporting women within the AUT community.
Previous winners’ projects include supporting first- and second-year Māori students with one-on-one academic and emotional support and fostering inclusivity at home through residential assistantships (RA).
Your support plays a vital role in enabling our students to succeed in their studies while growing as leaders and advocates. Every donation helps strengthen a more inclusive campus culture and supports women at AUT to create meaningful, long term impact for themselves and others.
